***New blog series!*** On select Fridays, I’ll be posting a few links that are currently rocking my world.

For those of us who want real life to more resemble a Sprite-heavy RPG world (and turn our To-Do Lists into slayable dragons or far-flung epic quests): http://habitrpg.com

Variety is the spice of life, especially when trying to learn a daily habit like meditation. Make it a journey that’s focused toward manifestation, abundance, or happiness with meditation experiences from Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey: http://chopracentermeditation.com/

Speaking of meditation, I am currently fascinated by mala beads… functionally AND esthetically! Which ones should I get for myself? (I’m eyeing the opalite and moonstone one!) Which ones would YOU get? http://www.dharmashop.com/108-bead-tibetan-malas/

Clear the clutter on your computer screen and get thee to your writing: http://www.ommwriter.com/

Goal-setting, turned on its mother-effing ear:

I’m no Catholic, but this Pope has a pretty good list right here on being a happier person, sans messy religious rhetoric: http://thehigherlearning.com/2014/07/31/the-pope-just-released-a-list-of-10-tips-for-becoming-a-happier-person-and-they-are-spot-on/

Who needs a home office when I can read for people here? Their Garden Flower tea is to die for, and it’s such a cozy space! http://www.rpatisserie.com/

Speaking of reading for people, I had such a wonderful time this week doing readings at Domestic Dry Goods Company in Rye Brook! I was so busy, I didn’t even have time to get some shopping in! I sure will be back to get my holiday shopping done! http://domesticdrygoodscompany.com/

What’s floating your boat this week? Leave a Comment below and share!

Ooooh – thanks for the Omwriter tip, that looks right up my street, there are about 2 hours each day where all I want to be doing is WRITING but I find it so hard to ringfence that time and keep it sacred. Some days it works, other days I really feel like I need an app to help me out. Really appreciate you sharing this 😀

My share? Handmade tarot bags, by a wonderful woman named Bobby, all the way over in New Zealand – mine arrived this morning and it’s stunning: http://littleredtarot.com/handmade-tarot-bags-to-make-you-swoon/

      Hi Beth!

Ommwriter will REALLY help with your writing… it’s so clean and pretty, and I love the typing sound effects, ambient noise, and soothing backgrounds!

Those tarot bags are GORGEOUS! I especially love the Mary-el one… And thank you for providing a link to the pattern for a knitted tarot bag; I was JUST looking for a pattern to start knitting again! I’d love to know what your custom bag from Bobby looks like… 🙂

  2. BEth says:

I’m gonna download it today and give it a go – I’ve plans to do some serious writing this weekend. Thanks again for sharing!

My custom bag from Bobby? Oooh go on then, I’ll pop some pictures up just for you – behold: http://littleredtarot.com/handmade-tarot-bag-wild-unknown-deck/

Isn’t it stunning? There’s details in the post about how to order your own. Bobby is so great 🙂
