Weekly Round-Up: It’s a New Year!

Holy moly moo, it has been the longest short work week ever, am I right? Here’s a round-up of links and things I’m digging on, with a new year’s slant to it!

Gala Darling just released a new yearly tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) program called Magnetismo (that’s Italian for the word “magnetism”). When I saw the announcement, I zipped over to the site, and lo and behold, here I was extolling the virtues of this new program in a testimonial! No worries though: I’ve used Gala’s tapping routines before in her other program Illuminated that I did back in July, along with her original program on “power tapping” Tap That. I’ve severely cut down on my sugar intake, and have switched from drinking soda to seltzer or water. I’m also enrolled in her Radical Radiance book, which includes plenty of tapping routines in it… so while I won’t be picking up Magnetismo, the endorsement I provide about the power of learning tapping with Gala is absolutely 100% approved! (I’ve included it below.)

I’ve only been using the Orisha Tarot for the past 4 days, and man oh man, it has been kicking my butt in all the right ways. I’ll be reviewing it here at the end of the month, but if you just can’t wait to pick up a copy, you can see for yourself.

🔮🃏Card of the Day for 1/3/19: 6 of Swords [The Orisha Tarot]: In the most simple terms, this card is depicting a simple tool that can bring deep insight. Don’t be fooled by something that seems to be simple, and don’t poo-poo or belittle something for its simplicity… in fact, today is a day where you should pare things down to their very essence to find the answers you seek. But don’t ask if you don’t want to know.⠀ ⠀ 🙌🏻 💞 Like the card of the day? Weekly Round-Up: Obsessed with Gala Darling Edition

On select Fridays, I’ll be posting a few links that are currently rocking my world. Sometimes they have a theme. Other times, they don’t: it’s all about random articles and websites that I’m finding interesting or uplifting. This week, it’s a glom on Gala Darling LOVE theme. I love this woman. I think she’s brilliant. Here’s some articles and programs of hers that you should check out.

Tap ThatGala Darling is where I first learned about the Emotional Freedom Technique, aka EFT, aka “tapping” (no, not the kind of dance class I take every Thursday night). It’s a mix of acupressure and positive psychology, and though I am a skeptical miss even though I am a witch and have seen things that would blow your mind and wouldn’t think are really happening… I think this whole EFT thing works pretty well. As long as I remember to do it, of course.

I’ve gotten back into the habit with Gala Darling’s latest class about breaking bad habits, Illuminated: The habit I’m trying to kick is the same one as hers: cutting sugar out of my diet. I’m on Day Two. So far, so good.

High Vibe Honey—If you are interested in trying out her version of the Emotional Freedom Technique, which she likes to call “power tapping,” I would highly recommend you check out her weekly series High Vibe Honey on Youtube (it’s free and it’s awesome). In it she combines messages from the tarot plus tapping on the issues that the tarot is suggesting may come up for you in that week in order to heal them. Great stuff, right? The latest edition of High Vibe Honey is here

Radical Self-Love—Other things I’ve purchased from her include both her book and course on Radical Self-Love.

Bad Witch Workout—What else should you check out from her? Well, if you want to work out AND be unapologetically styled when doing so, her free Bad Witch Workout Challenge is pretty great.

Never forget that you are an amazing, powerful, spiritual creature with lots and lots to give… but you can’t give it without making sure you are filled up, FIRST.

If you’ve read just this post, or are a regular reader of my website or one of my regular clients, I love you and you are the reason I do all this: the website, the blog, drive-by tarot sessions, and daily tarot pulls. They are for YOU. Because I want to see you thrive, babes and gents and everyone in between!

Much love and blessings,

Missing my Card a Day Challenge students… must go into the exclusive Facebook group and say hello. The Facebook group stays active all year for people to share their card a day revelations if they don’t feel comfortable sharing them on social media like I do. I teach this challenge live every year the week before my birthday. Once again, I cannot believe how quickly the time flew by. Great insights, empowered participants… THIS is the reason why I love tarot: when I see love of the tarot reflected back to me when I’m teaching it!

Last weekend I taught a new class at the Brid’s Closet Beltane Festival: Tarot Spells! This hour-long class was a combination of a few of my signature classes: Using Tarot for Spell-Work and Tarot Talismans. The ebook for Tarot Talismans is available in my store if you want to pick it up. I may make an ebook available for purchase for Tarot Spells soon too, and investigate in delivery through Gumroad. (b/c it seems all the cool kids use Gumroad)

Updating my wardrobe using Stitch Fix, and waiting with baited breath for my next shipment! Currently rocking the jeans they selected for me. If you are not a fan of clothes shopping, I would highly recommend this great styling service!

Have you picked up your copy of Kitchen Table Tarot yet? You really should… Melissa Cynova of Little Fox Tarot has such great and unusual insights about the tarot… insights I haven’t seen anywhere else.

I’ve been hearing about Selena Soo for awhile now… so when enrollment for her program Impacting Millions opened up, I knew I wanted IN. We’re currently in Module 3, and I have NOT been more thrilled! Check out her website and find out why I’m raving about her. No news yet on whether being internet-famous will make me more interesting. Probably not.
