On select Fridays, I’ll be posting a few links that are currently rocking my world.
I love Carolyn Elliot’s work on BAD WITCHES, so it was absolutely no surprise that I adored this article on medium.com: 17 Bizarre Philosophies that Made me $10,000 last month (with accompanying music videos)
Utterly delicious and infinitely re-readable, I consider it an article on belief rather than manifesting money (but there’s some of that in there, too).
Allison Carr is a witch. Are you one? Are you comfortable using that word? Why I Use the Word Witch
The Profound Significance of 1111: Have these numbers been following you around, too? There may be a higher reason why.
Losing My Husband―and Finding Him Again Through a Medium: Lisa Chase’s article is a fascinating look at mediumship, and why seeing a medium could be considered an alternative to therapy for the grieving.
Can you believe we’re in the last month of the year already? Time to start planning for next year! Start 2016 off right by checking out this ultra-helpful astrological guide by Theresa Reed: The Tarot Lady’s Ultra-Deluxe Superfly Astrology Guide for 2016
Lately I have been experiencing a huge amount of #Droughtlander, which I’ve been assuaging with listening to its beautiful score. Bear McCreary, the man behind the music of the Starz original series Outlander and many, many TV and video game scores, is hilarious. Nobody likes bagpipes? I do!
Back to the wonder that is BAD WITCHES, with this post about tarot, belief, and fear: 3 ‘WHY’s ASKED ABOUT THE SCARINESS OF TAROT by Sarah Taylor
“In one beautifully truthful moment, she said that I was to say nothing to her about what I saw, because it would mean she would have to change. I admired her tremendously for that. Later on, however, she told me that I was not welcome with the rest of my family at her home the last few weeks of her life unless I promised never to talk about what I did.”
This article boiled down to the following quote, and really struck a chord with me: “If you don’t think tarot works, why does it scare you?” From what I’ve seen, the people that keep their distance from me when I’m doing readings have fear based on experiences with the tarot in which they weren’t prepared for tarot to actually work: as in, tell them the truth they weren’t prepared to hear.
Finally, I am literally SALIVATING, waiting to get my 2016 Daily Desire Map Planner! I am making do with a wall calendar for 2016, but until I get my greedy little mitts on my planner, I won’t be a happy camper. 😉
