On select Fridays, I’ll be posting a few links that are currently rocking my world.
Little Red Tarot’s Beth Maiden gets crafty and shows us how to make a hand-drawn natal chart. This looks absolutely gorgeous! I have the handwriting for it, but I don’t know if I have the artistic chops…
Will anyone come to my party? Alexandra Franzen speaks to the shy 16 year old in all of us.
I was thinking about guilty pleasures I enjoy after joining Melissa Cassera’s 5-day preview class of Obsessed (starts Monday, 10/26!), and came across this: 10 After-Credit Movie Scenes You Probably Missed [Some spoilers, proceed with caution!]. I had forgotten about this certain guilty pleasure I have of waiting past the credits to get to the hidden “cookie” (as I call it) at the end of films. It does tend to drive people I go to the movies with a little nuts, especially if I wait until the end of the credits only to find nothing at all… but as you’ll see, sometimes the wait is worth the payoff! If you haven’t seen these movies, DON’T WATCH! Spoilers!
Kyle and Theresa’s stories about the 8 of Cups energy in food particularly moved me this week: A French chef retires grudgingly, and a world traveler returns home.
Sasha Graham’s newest book 365 Tarot Spells is now available for pre-order! As if that’s not good enough news, she includes a cooking spell involving the Ace of Wands in her announcement. Sasha Graham was my “Celebrity Teacher’s Assistant” when I taught Using Tarot for Spell-Work at RS13, so I know she knows what she’s talking about in incorporating tarot into magickal practices! Look to this space soon for an interview with Sasha!
One of the best explanations of setting time frames for the tarot… as in, defining what “the future” REALLY means, from Jenna Matlin of Queen of Wands Tarot.
