Big news first, which may explain the lack of a newsletter last month and my social media quietness….
My first book Tarot: Practical and Celestial (also may be titled How to Read Tarot) is now available for preorder on Amazon, BN, and at your local independent bookstores via IndieBound!
Publication date is slated for November 22, 2022 (I love that it’s 11/22/22, what a fantastic numerological combination!).
As usual when I have a huge deadline, the rest of my obligations quieted down in order to accommodate it. I also have another writing project, which I’m keeping under wraps for now but I am equally thrilled about it (as you will be).
Divine timing was at work for the former, and dropped into my lap the very same week I was exiting my day job to pursue my tarot business full-time. Again, thank you to Theresa Reed for the world of opportunities that have opened to me since winning the Tarot Apprentice contest back in 2011 (can you believe it was eleven years ago? I can’t!).
Every time I agonized over not being able to put everything I wanted to write about tarot into this slim volume (128 pages), I tapped on it and reminded myself to have fun and that I know far more about tarot than I think I do (while also keeping the beginner’s mind of knowing that ultimately I know nothing). It was a joy to write this book, and I’m sure it is only the first of many I will write.
Tap, tap, taparoo!
And speaking of tapping…
I returned from my Vegas graduation trip on Friday night, a new person yet still ME. I hope you kept up with my travels on social media. I tried to post as much as I could while also trying to stay present, in the moment, and not have my phone glued to my hand. As I result, every conversation I had was deep and juicy, even with strangers on the plane, cab drivers, and the beautiful dancers at the Sapphire Club in Vegas (half of them had heard of tapping, how about that?).
Each moment of my trip when faced with a decision, I ran toward the thing that scared me the most instead of running from it. It was terrifying and exhilarating. I highly recommend getting outside of your comfort zone… and staying there. It’s where the growth and the good stuff is.
This week in light of the revelations from Vegas, I went live on Instagram and did a group tapping for upleveling. Also, a brave soul named Alexis joined me and we tapping on her personal upleveling, so it was amazing to be able to show the benefits of both group tapping and a personalized EFT tapping session in one video. Grab your water and tap along!
If you have enjoyed the tapping information or been one of my willing guinea pigs as I practiced for my tapping certification, please let me know. I want to offer this as another way of working with me, but am definitely wondering what to charge as an EFT practitioner, especially knowing of the replay-ability of a tapping session until it no longer holds resonance. Honestly, how do you put a price on it? It feels squiggy charging less for these sessions than my tarot sessions, and equally squiggy charging more. Charging the same amount as my tarot sessions also feels not quite right either. Sigh. Guess I’m just gonna have to TAP ON IT!
Blessings,
