I’m a big fan of signs. Divine timing, messages coming in threes to make us sit up and pay attention, that sort of thing.
So when I had a bit of a “single white female” type of client recently, I had to hit the ban button.
I didn’t do it immediately. Fortunately I had my fellow co-hosts of Cardslingers Coast to Coast Melissa and Jaymi there to talk the situation over with (don’t worry, there’s an episode coming up about it too). Having a community is invaluable. Especially when you’re in a weird profession like tarot reading.
So, there was that. And then there was this recent Hit List from Theresa Reed entitled “Your permission slip.” I didn’t think I needed a permission slip anymore. And yet in that situation, I kinda did.
I got to work shoring up my space, my boundaries, my policies. So here’s a reminder of what they are, just as much for me as it is for you.
My Tarot Policies
I am happy to do a reading on the following topics:
- business
- life path
- love
I will NOT do a reading on the following topics:
- health
- gambling
- legal issues
If you want to book an appointment with me, this is the procedure:
- Go to my Buy a Reading page or click on the button on the top right corner of this page.
- Select the appointment type and length of appointment (if applicable). Click the Book button.
- Check that your correct time zone is listed. Select a date and time that matches with your schedule.
- Fill in the prompts and all required information fields. Continue to payment.
- Pay for your appointment. You will receive email confirmation of your appointment shortly after.
If you miss an appointment with me, this is what happens:
- Payment forfeiture or rescheduling. Multiple no-shows will get you banned and you will be unable to book an appointment with me in the future.
If you are rude, violent, offensive, or downright creepy, this is what happens:
- Banned. You will be unable to book an appointment with me in the future. I keep a blacklist, and my scheduling software does account for this. Don’t try it. It’s weird.
You should DEFINITELY book a session with me if:
- You are proactive about your life.
- You’re willing to do the work.
- You already are working with your intuition and/or a divination system and you want a second opinion.
- You believe the future is not set in stone and can be changed.
You should NOT book a session with me if:
- You are not willing to do the work.
- I’m fine with a healthy amount of skepticism. However, game-playing and “test the psychic” isn’t my bag. I’ve been doing this for 20 years. This is your life, your reading, your money. Choose to spend it wisely.
