Weekly Round-Up: It’s a New Year!

Holy moly moo, it has been the longest short work week ever, am I right? Here’s a round-up of links and things I’m digging on, with a new year’s slant to it!

Gala Darling just released a new yearly tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) program called Magnetismo (that’s Italian for the word “magnetism”). When I saw the announcement, I zipped over to the site, and lo and behold, here I was extolling the virtues of this new program in a testimonial! No worries though: I’ve used Gala’s tapping routines before in her other program Illuminated that I did back in July, along with her original program on “power tapping” Tap That. I’ve severely cut down on my sugar intake, and have switched from drinking soda to seltzer or water. I’m also enrolled in her Radical Radiance book, which includes plenty of tapping routines in it… so while I won’t be picking up Magnetismo, the endorsement I provide about the power of learning tapping with Gala is absolutely 100% approved! (I’ve included it below.)

I’ve only been using the Orisha Tarot for the past 4 days, and man oh man, it has been kicking my butt in all the right ways. I’ll be reviewing it here at the end of the month, but if you just can’t wait to pick up a copy, you can see for yourself.

🔮🃏Card of the Day for 1/3/19: 6 of Swords [The Orisha Tarot]: In the most simple terms, this card is depicting a simple tool that can bring deep insight. Don’t be fooled by something that seems to be simple, and don’t poo-poo or belittle something for its simplicity… in fact, today is a day where you should pare things down to their very essence to find the answers you seek. But don’t ask if you don’t want to know.⠀ ⠀ 🙌🏻 💞 Like the card of the day? How to Host Your Own “Be a Psychic” Party

beyourownpsychic

I walked up to the lobby counter of the country club and asked, “I’m here for the party… where is the room?” They smiled and gestured to the room on the right, where music and laughter was coming from. “Follow the fun sounds?” I asked as I smiled and went.

I walked into the party room in awe. I stopped dead at the open doorway. The dining room table was set, long-ways, with table settings out and almost all the guests already present, except for the birthday girl. It was gorgeous, inviting, and fun, with everyone having a good time already, yet still anticipating the person-of-honor’s arrival.

The hostess thought of everything for this themed party, including hiring me to give readings, of course. The pièce de résistance (besides me, naturally) was the gorgeous party favors: different sets of crystals placed in a compartmentalized tray, with paper cutouts signifying each crystal’s meaning, and transparent colored silk baggies for putting crystals in.

“I would have never thought of that, what a wonderful idea!” I gushed to the hostess. In the corner was a beautifully laid out table, ready for me to place my tarot cards on and begin my readings for that afternoon. I sat myself down, smiled to the guests, and gestured for the first person to come take a seat and get a reading.

I walked out of that private party absolutely glowing with every detail thought out, and memories of the wonderful people I read for.

But you don’t need a professional reader to host a party like that of your very own! (Though, ahem, I DO do party readings… and you can get on my schedule here).Continue Reading

Readers Studio 2012 Rundown—Part 2

For Part 1 of this series, see here.

In the morning I rose bright and early for the breakfast roundtable with Nancy Antenucci. I may be getting to the point of VIP stalker status with Nancy. As I sipped my coffee (aka lifeblood) I listened to people tell their “tarot stories”—stories that had an impact. Nancy said before she opened up the floor to other people that the stories of “That was a wonderful experience” or “I’ll never do THAT again” were the best kinds of stories to tell, because in them contained lessons. The stories that people shared ran the gamut of reading tarot in Italy with a translator and clients using their one phone call in lockup to call the reader to tell them they were right. Some stories were sad and some caused laughter to spread across the room, but each one of them made me think.Continue Reading
